Leaders in the Making 2009
The Leaders in the Making program is designed to strengthen leadership capacity within school networks and support the development of Network based succession planning models. The program has two components - Network Based Leadership Development and a complementary state-wide program delivered by RMIT University.

What will I learn?
The Leaders in the Making program is designed to strengthen leadership capacity and support the design of succession planning models within school networks.
The program aims to:

• encourage participants to engage with theory and research related to school effectiveness and leadership;
• provide participants with the opportunity to explore the complexities of their network and to lead beyond their own context;
• present participants with opportunities to work collaboratively to address a challenge within their network;
• provide participants with opportunities for career planning; and
• equip participants with the leadership capabilities to meet the demands and challenges of leadership roles in the government education system.
